Honeymoons

The 4 D's To Planning Your Honeymoon
Tropical breezes, snow capped mountains, a romantic dinner for two on the beach...love, laughter, romance and thoughts of your happily-ever-after, begin on your Honeymoon. The first venture in your new life together; planning should be just as much fun as the Honeymoon itself. Dollars, Destination, Details and Dreams are four things that you need to look at in order to make your planning come together with ease.
The Dollars ~ What exactly is your budget? Before choosing a destination, you need to consider what your budget is and what exactly you can or can not afford. Bridal Registries are very popular and we offer one to our clients in order to help offset the cost of your Honeymoon expenses. Today, most people are already living together...how many pots, pans, dishes, linens and counter appliances do you really need?
Registering your Honeymoon can help make it all you want it to be. I also suggest using any frequent flyer miles to offset the cost of airfare, giving you more dollars to spend on the actual Honeymoon itself. Look for the best "value" for your dollar; for instance traveling during "off peak" times and choosing a shorter length of stay can save you money that you can use to upgrade your accomodations. What type of accomodations are you looking for? Perhaps a modest resort or cruise or luxury.
Cruises and All-Inclusive Resorts offer great "value". Made famous for romance in the television series "The Love Boat", cruises allow you to see many different destinations with having to pack and unpack and includes your meals (unless dining in a specilaty restaurant), entertainment and most onboard activities. Romance at Sea...
Sandals, one of the most recognized all-inclusive resorts says that "Love is all you need". All-inclusive resorts offer a multitude of destinations, but you usually go to one or to max. They usually include your meals, alcohol, entertainment, gratuities and many resort activities. If there is more than one resort at a particular destination you can stay at one and play at the others. (Some resorts require an additional fee.)
The Destinations ~ This should be based on what it is you love to do and your personality. There are quite a few things to consider. Are you seeking peace and tranquility without a lot of activity? Are you the adventurous type? Are you looking for unforgettable romance? Do you like warm or cold weather? Do you want to take in some history at your destination and take day trips or tours? Do you not want to leave the resort at all? Do you want to feel the warm sand under your feet or pitch a snow ball at your love? Some of the top Honeymoon destinations include: Hawaii, Caribbean, Tahiti, Italy, France and Greece. Some of the "hot" new destinations include: Fiji, Asia and Dubai.
The Details & Dreams ~ What will make this your dream Honeymoon? Do you dream of starlit skies while onboard a cruise ship while looking out at the moonlit waters? Is it a romantic candlelit dinner on a tropical beach with the waves crashing at your feet and the warm breezes blowing through your hair? How about laying on a private beach bed while your beach butler serves you your favorite drink and moist cool towels? Your personal butler draws a rose petal bath and has it awaiting you when you come off the beach. Riding a zip-line while looking at snow-capped mountains in Alaska. Eating at a different restaurant nightly; today Thai, tomorrow Italian. Up for some scuba diving, snorkeling, windsurfing, golf or tennis? Are you interacting with others or is this a time to be alone, just the two of you?
